You got it. But it's not what you might think. The Last Great Hunt, by Shonie and Andee De La Rosa of Sheephead Films, is a comedy that takes some of the most ingrained images of Natives–and turns these stereotypes right on their head in this seven minute parody.

Good analogy to the comic fillers in Dreamkeeper. I found it mildly interesting, nothing more. Carole at NativeVue.org seems to think these short films are gems, but I'm not as wowed as she is.
ReplyDeleteGems? well, maybe not gems...but I like the spirit and parody many of these shorts convey. I rather think of these clips like a energy snack rather than a five-course dinner. Sometimes enough to give you a quick pick-me-up...
