Award-winner available

Special Pre-Release Edition of “Expiration Date” Offer for NativeVue ReadersExpiration Date is a black comedy about a young man cursed to die by being hit by a milk truck on his 25th birthday. Not predictable comedy fare, but that’s the point—the quirky romance by Seattle filmmaker Rick Stevenson tackles stereotypes on every level. Starring Robert Guthrie as the doomed victim-to-be, the casting of a Native lead is seamless to the love story and sweet relationship between mother and son.

Clearly, those in the know agree. This past November, Expiration Date won both Best Picture and Best Actor honors (for Guthrie) at the annual American Indian Film Festival and the film has received glowing reviews and press coverage typically reserved for major releases.
