Another Native TV network
New TV channel will cater to Native AmericansNational Native American Television Inc. was revealed last Friday to local officials--including Cathedral City Mayor Pro Tem Bud England and Desert Hot Springs Mayor Alex Bias--during a dinner gathering at the Saraya, 67-778 E. Palm Canyon Drive.
The group, which has been approved for nonprofit status by the California Secretary of State, is dedicated to forming the national TV station and a school where American Indians can learn the ins and outs of movie and television production, said founder El-Hadj Loudhni of Indio.
