Navajo round dance album

First rez round dance album a masterpieceRound dancing originated among the northern Plains tribes and takes place during the winter solstice.

Originally a ceremonial event, it has become a social gathering to celebrate people who have passed on and to renew relationships within a community.

The idea for the album was the brainchild of Freeland, Navajo, who took the idea to Sayer, Cree, who is originally from Piapot, Saskatchewan. From there other singers were added and the end result is this album, titled "191 N.: 5 Bucks Gas" (Cool Runnings Music).
