An e-mail on our recent COWBOYS & ALIENS postings:Hey, Rob. I just stumbled across your blog and I'm kinda surprised that I hadn't found it before. Anyway, I felt compelled to introduce myself. My name is Dan Forcey and I'm the VP of Content at Platinum Studios, the folks behind Cowboys & Aliens in all its incarnations. I'm also ¼ Onondaga from southern Quebec and very proud of my heritage (in fact I used to teach at a Native-only theatre school in Toronto). I've been with Platinum for several years but only in my current position for about six months. If I had been in this position at the time the original book was published it would NOT have been the same book. I mostly wanted to say thank you for noticing the effort the new creative team is putting into Worlds At War. Without any urging from me (and I was ready to, believe me) they have invested a great deal of time and effort in the authenticity of a project that was handed to them with characters called "Warhawk". I mostly wanted to say thank you for noticing and that you've got a new, very avid reader on your hands now.
