Kucinich loves Chief Wahoo

Does Kucinich support racist Indian mascots?Relating to Native issues, I have a question for you. As a candidate for "Equality for all," in your public appearances, why in the world did you wear a ball cap that sports a known racist logo? Yes, Wahoo of the Indians is a racist iamge. (See Indians Fan Dennis Kucinich Campaigns in New England.)

I can only assume you have not been educated on how these race-based logos negatively impact Native and non-Native children. I can only assume that you have not been enlightened on why we call Wahoo "little red sambo." For decades individuals and groups have been working to eliminate this form of racism and oppression against Native people from American society. This movement has grown significantly over the past 10 years.
Comment:  See a video of Kucinich in his racist baseball cap here.

Does supporting racism against Indians disqualify Kucinich from being president? You be the judge.

It's funny that we call the caricature "Chief Wahoo" even though he's apparently a "brave" and not a chief. It's another stupid aspect of this stupid stereotype.

For more on the subject, see Little Black Sambo and Chief Wahoo.

In fact, no, it doesn't. But then again, Kucinich doesn't have a Chinaman's chance ever of becoming President of these United States. Bush has seen to that. The next time we ever will have a Republican President likely will be when Rob no longer receives $20 checks from the Chickasaws, the Cheyenne-Arapaho, the Kickapoo, the Comanche, the Kiowa, and the Absentee Shawnee.

  2. Kucunich is a real piece of work, a joke candidate who works hard to campaign for and capture the interest of 4% of Americans. The same 4% who sometimes cry at night because the Soviet Union is gone.

Now... Writerfella? Not sure what you mean. Your wording implies that Kucinich is a Republican?

  3. You don't know what Russ is saying because he doesn't write clearly. Russ doesn't know what he's saying because he's an ignoramus about my source of income.

Since I don't receive checks from any gaming tribes, Russ is saying a Republican could be elected president today. Either he meant to say that or he's a blithering idiot.

P.S. I wouldn't bet my life savings on a Democratic victory in 2008. Since Clinton, Obama, and Edwards all have flaws, it's still possible for a Republican to win.
