Chamberlain to start for Yankees

The 22-year-old right-hander will face Roy Halladay and the Toronto Blue Jays.
The Yankees have long planned for Chamberlain, one of the dominant relievers in the game, to become a starter, the role he had in the minor leagues and at the University of Nebraska.The Native angle:
Chamberlain flew to New York ahead of the team so he could get a full night of sleep. As he left the clubhouse, he was wearing a purple beaded necklace given to him a few days ago by a member of the Meskwaki Tribe of Iowa.
He plans to wear the necklace on the mound tonight.
"It means a lot," said Chamberlain, a member of the Winnebago Tribe. "For Native Americans, it signifies you mean something for us or you did something for us."
