The sixth-annual day of celebration and competition for men, women and retired ironworkers starts at 9:30 a.m. at the Route 37 gaming facility.
More than $12,000 in prizes will be awarded, and entertainment, food vendors and a chicken barbecue are planned.
Retirees of the International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental and Reinforcing Ironworkers union take center stage when they compete in three events:
Knot tying is where participants tie five knots in the fastest time they can.
Rebar tying is another timed speed-skill event, where the competitors finish as many correct ties as possible.
In the bolt toss, players earn points for the number of bolts thrown that end up in the target canvas bag in a certain amount of time.
