Crow Indians in inaugural parade

Crow Tribe represents MT in inaugural paradeSome 24 Crow Tribal members riding on horseback, decked out in the tribe's ceremonial head dresses and Native American attire represented the state of Montana.

The Crow Nation's Horse Mounted Unit was the eighth entry to come down Pennsylvania Avenue.

One tribal member proudly flew the official Crow flag as they saluted the 44th President, who was adopted into the tribe as an honorary member during his visit to Crow Agency this past May.

Another 20 Crow Tribe women rode in a Montana float, fully adorned in tribal dress.
Comment:  Another article reported that Obama waved when his Crow "relations" passed.
