An article about a Native artist who's apparently a jack-of-all trades:
Exclusive Chat With Vancouver Actor Mark RedskyBy Crystal DahlMark is currently writing his first feature film called Robot Zombies and will begin searching for development money in the new year. Prior to this project, Mark cut his teeth by writing, producing and acting in several short films, even directing one. On one film he utilised the title song from his third cousin, renowned musician, Billy Joe Green's album. Another one called Until Tomorrow was screened at the Aboriginal Film Festival. He also has a half hour Sci-Fi pilot script and a one hour Sci-Fi drama script completed.
When Mark isn’t acting or writing, he’s a sought after stone carver. His carvings include dolphins, turtles, starfish, spirit animals, orcas and orca fins, as well as an assortment of necklaces. His carvings are available at the Innukshuk Gallery on Granville Island, Spirit Gallery in Horseshoe Bay and Canoe Pass Gallery in Steveston to name a few.Comment: For more on the subject, see
