SAN JACINTO:  Ramona roles announcement is Saturday

By Bob PratteRamona Bowl leaders will continue building support of the beleaguered amphitheatre above Hemet by reviving a president's dinner Saturday to announce the main roles for "Ramona," the outdoor play that opens April. 16.

A President's Gala will be held at The Country Club at Soboba Springs at 5:30 p.m. Saturday. The roles of Alessandro and Ramona will be revealed following closed-to-spectators auditions earlier in the day. Other main speaking roles will be announced, too.

Until the dinner, only a casting committee and the actors will know who will play the roles. Also, best-selling author Jackie Collins will speak, a fundraising auction will be held and dancing to a DJ's music will be offered. The dinner quickly sold out.
