The reaction to the movie has been so positive that Hollis will show the movie for an additional week, through Thursday, Sept. 27. Showings are daily at 6:30 p.m.
On Friday night after the premiere, The Historic Globe Main Street Program and the Globe-Miami Chamber of Commerce hosted a packed house featuring the film’s actors and townspeople at the historic train depot. The actors also gathered to meet with the public on Saturday night at The Drift Inn.
“The reaction to the film has been amazing,” said director Korinna Sehringer. “It’s rough times for independent movies, and to get a turnout like we had here, with three consecutive sold out shows, that’s—at least to me—almost unheard of.”
