Seeking advice on "Indian demon"

Reader Neil brought the following messages to my attention. The first batch comes from MinisteringDeliverance.com--the "Deliverance and Spiritual Warfare Community":

Advice on American Indian demon?Ambassador G

Anybody have any experience and advice with Indian animal demons? I'm dealing with a lady whose ancestors a couple of generations ago, on both sides, were involved in some major fallout with American Indians resulting in murder.

She has many demons, specifically one named Arrowhead that is a hawk. When it manifests you'll see her hands go into the form of claws. It's definitely a stubborn spirit. It has many other spirits that protect it and come forth pretending to be Arrowhead--they are easily discerned though and commanded to subside.

About a week after encountering the demon, the lady's mom found an arrowhead in her house in a drawer, apparently saved by her deceased husband. It has since been destroyed and thrown away.

The lady also has many personalities that switch quite often which makes matters even more difficult during the deliverance.

I'll have to read my notes, but I remember one thing.... there's on that all indian tribes seem to have.... rage... called raging bull. Every person I knew that had any american indian in them had that one...

Good work for the Lord Jesus, Gene!

Gene, have you thought about having these individuals go through a Holy Communion session. I know at times having some individuals with stubborn spirits partake of the Holy Communion will weaken these spirits.

Jay is right.

In my house were having a problem in our bathroom. My son would when taking showers sometimes go into fits and rages. They could be nasty....

Prayer and seeking God went forth through the deliverance sessions and my prayer partner when i was in the bathroom felt she was in another diminsion.

At a later time she felt something was connected to the bathroom wall going outside where my son had his sand box and we had some other stuff. Something was wrong in that area.

We prayed and had Holy communion in that spot.

Not a problem that i can think of with Ben having fits in the bathroom sence.

There may have been Indian activity here once.... we are in the boonies....

There was also the problem of me by accident in drawing a murial on the bathroom door i opened a portal i think.... but thats another story...

Anyhow closing the portal.and having Communion in this one spot has really been extremely beneificial. I dont understand it but i respect it..

God knew what was needed.. Praise the name of the Lord and thanks to the sweet Holy Spirit who has all knowledge and wisdom!God is on the move.... even in our bathroom!

Someone apparently posted Jewels' message to another forum, because it drew a different series of responses:

You're going to blame possible Native American activity in that area for your son's fits? Really? Maybe your son is epileptic. Or perhaps even just a little unstable ( with a parent this balanced I wouldn't be surprised about that last option).

I can't stop laughing at this.

You're getting the Amityville Horror mixed up with real life. Also you can't spell right.

How can... people... this primitive use a computer, let alone the internet? They're like the 21st century version of the common perception of Neanderthals (with my apologies to the Neanderthals, I know they weren't as primitive as they're painted).

It would be nice to think they'll be out-competed by atheists, but the way these people breed--I don't know...

Why don't you get Jesus to take a look at it? After all, he was a carpenter, wasn't he?

You live in Ohio, and there may have been "Indian activity" there? Gosh, you think so?

Oh lawdy! Injun spirits running amok and a darkie in the White House! Whatever shall we do?

Whole thread is hilarious.
Comment:  Needless to say, all the mistakes are in the original messages.

As Neil noted, "Raging Bull" is a Martin Scorsese film, not an evil Indian spirit or demon.

If the first thread is an example of "spiritual warfare," these Christians might as well throw down their weapons and surrender. A 98-lb. weakling could defeat them with one hand tied behind his back.

For more on the subject, see Native Spirituality Is "Demonic"? and Indian Burial Grounds.

"It is still a bit of a mystery to us why a TaĆno Indian Spirit would reveal himself with a Spanish name."

Yeah, me too. But the real mystery is why a Taino would make a fella pull an Iron Eyes Cody impression. Indian Spirit Guides, the racism that will not die...

All spirits are subject and must obey the authority of Jesus Christ. Before doing deliverance on any person, one must repent and have a pure heart and clean hands before God. I have gone through deliverance myself from Seminole indians in my bloodline, and sometimes instead of pressing the spirit to come out, the person has to repent and renounce it themselves. Every knee will bow and every tounge will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord that is all in heaven and on EARTH. Use your authority in Christ and those demons must SUBMIT! Yeah Jesus for True Freedom!!!!!

  3. Thanks for sharing your beliefs, Anonymous. When you have something to say based on facts and evidence rather than primitive superstitions, be sure to share that too.
