Big Mountain the ventriloquist

Native American ventriloquist educates peopleEducating people about Native American culture through puppets. That's been the goal of one Native American ventriloquist who's been traveling the country and the world for several decades. And it's all about using humor in his shows too.

Buddy Big Mountain has been performing as a ventriloquist for more than 30 years ever since he saw another ventriloquist performing at a theme park when he was a child.

"I started ventriloquism as a hobby while we were performing in theme parks. My family were dancers in theme parks," said Big Mountain.

Big Mountain is part Mohawk, Comanche and Apache. He's one a very few Native American ventriloquists in the United States.
