Tribe organizing youth choirs in its 9 districtsThe Cherokee Nation has started a program for Cherokee children in grades three through six to participate in a children’s choir within their respective tribal districts.
The nine CN District Children’s Choirs will function much like the Cherokee National Youth Choir, which is designed to teach the Cherokee language through music and song to young Cherokee citizens and the public.Comment: For more on the subject, see
