NIGA 2010 (Day 3)

As usual, the trade show's last day was quiet.

On the way to the booth today, I took a few pix of rapper/activist Litefoot. I sat at our table for an hour and a half while Victor was in transit and greeted a few guests, including former NIGC chairman Phil Hogen. When Victor arrived I took off for a brief tour of the floor. Among other things, I saw NIGA chairman Ernie Stevens Jr. raffle off a motorcycle. I also got to meet Facebook friends Leonda Levchuk and Kimberly Craven.

When Victor went off again, this time for a lunch meeting, I spent another hour at the booth. At least I got to play with his new iPad while the crowds dwindled. It's a great tool for showing off websites at shows, and everyone wanted to see it.

Victor dropped me off at my car and I headed home. But I hit traffic as soon as I got out of San Diego, and I was tired from my lack of sleep, so I pulled off the freeway in Del Mar. Deciding to wait a few hours, I stopped at a movie theater and saw The Secret of Kells, the Oscar-nominated animated film. I was the only one in the theater until an old couple joined me after the movie started. Then I finished my Harry Bosch novel in the parking lot and finally headed home.
