Oneida film at "American Cannes"

Raccoon & Crawfish Makes Moondance Finals“Raccoon & Crawfish,” the first 3-D animated short film created by the Oneida Nation’s Four Direction Productions, is a finalist in the Moondance International Film Festival, popularly known as the “American Cannes.” Moondance is one of the premier venues for the exhibition and promotion of feature and short films in the U.S. and one of the leading indie film festivals in the world.

“Racoon & Crawfish,” an ancient Oneida legend that points to the dangers of boasting and deceit, debuted at the Syracuse Film Festival in April and already has earned two bronze Telly awards--one in the Entertainment category and one in the Use of Animation category.
