License plate to feature Indian?

Panel works to select new Oklahoma license plateAmong the five finalists are two different versions of a tag depicting the Guardian statue, which sits atop the State Capitol's dome. Another tag depicts a cowboy doing rope tricks.

There also are two variations of a tag depicting a statue of a Native American shooting an arrow into the sky, which stands in front of Tulsa's Gilcrease Museum.
Comment:  Not bad...four of the five proposed designs feature an Indian.

Writerfella here --
One only has to see the current Oklahoma license tag to know that the fifth design likely will be the one chosen, with no Native representation other than the phrase "Native America," meaning that everyone here is a 'Native American.' It would be nice if 'The Guardian' did appear, as it is a sculpture by Kelly Haney, a Seminole artist and former Oklahoma state senator. And also one of writerfella's college buddies from 'way back when, 1961-2, when they both attended Bacone College in Muskogee...
