Yes. Barack's family last name was Oglala, but the typewriter (from L. Frank Baum's estate sale in Aberdeen) was missing G's and L's, so it became Obama.
Writerfella here -- Um, er, uh, did anybody bother to FOLLOW the links so indicated? writerfella did and they ended on a page that said, "April Fool's!"
