Cowichan sweaters come back

Trendhumper:  Cowichan SweatersTo the average consumer, the sweater pictured [below] is just knit with animals on it. But in reality, the buffalo-splashed zip-up is actually called a Cowichan sweater.

The sweaters get their name from the Cowichan, a tribe of native people in British Columbia who originally introduced this style—typically marked by animals and geometric shapes—to the world. And now, some U.S-based brands are bringing back the look for the impending cold months.
