Pilgrim and Indian donated to hospital

Bidder Pays $5K For Plimouth Thanksgiving Guests

Donation To Go To Children's HospitalA Plimoth Plantation pilgrim and Wampanoag man will spend this Thanksgiving in the hospital, thanks to a generous Cape Cod businessman who forked over thousands to send them there.

The not-for-profit living history museum auctioned a Thanksgiving experience on eBay for 10 days, offering museum interpreters Edward Winslow and Hobbamock to some lucky bidder for the holiday, providing the winner could pay travel expenses.

An anonymous Cape businessman bid $5,000 and will donate the prize to Children's Hospital for their annual Thanksgiving celebration, which is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 26.
