DC's FINAL CRISIS series is underway and so is the related LEGION OF 3 WORLDS mini-series. It promises to revitalize the Legion of Super-Heroes by merging the three main incarnations of the group into one.
In LEGION OF 3 WORLDS #2, Dawnstar leads a team of Legionnaires on a rescue mission. Since she keeps assessing the situation, it seems pretty clear she's in charge. This is a novel take on the Amerindian character. In the past she's been more of a follower than a leader.
She's still wearing her modified costume from last year's ACTION series. It's the worst of both worlds (three worlds?), so to speak. It reveals almost as much skin as the old costume, but it's visually uninteresting. DC needs to reimagine her once again.
