Holy Moley! The dude actually believes that, if his university had kept the Native mascot so cherished, Native Americans would have BENEFITTED from the circumstance! He truly does not realize that it would have been comparable to Dachau or Bergen-Belsen being kept active with hired Jews playing concentration camp prisoners for tourists. He likely also would wish to keep 'the Hanoi Hilton' going, just so his fellow students could wear the pajamas and re-enact such memories at his football games. What a maroon!
