Women who love Mingo

I was inspired to post something on Daniel Boone because a blog called MingoWomen.com linked to my posting Mercurie on 1960s Westerns. This blog is labeled "A Place to Honor the Character of CaraMingo."

I don't know where the name CaraMingo comes from, since I don't see it in any official writeup on Daniel Boone. I guess it's their way of saying, "Cara Mia," as in "My love Mingo, the cutest faux Indian of them all." Apparently these women sigh over screen captures of Mingo and write fan fiction about him. Who knew?
