More Indian honors at DNC

South Dakotan to sing anthem at Democratic ConventionRobert Moore of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe in South Dakota will sing the national anthem at the Democratic convention in Denver next week.

Moore is an elected official in the tribe and has been a volunteer organizer for presidential candidate Barack Obama.
Navajo Code Talkers to present colors for DemocratsThe Navajo Code Talkers will present the colors on the opening night of the Democratic National Convention next week.

Using the Navajo language, the Code Talkers developed an unbreakable code during World War II. They have been recognized with Congressional medals for their service.
