The Tin Star is another classic movie from director Anthony Mann, who helped launch a wave of Westerns with revisionist views about Indians. There are no overt Indians in it, but four characters are labeled "half-breeds." Moreover, anti-Indian prejudice is one of the movie's motivating forces.
