Cherokee Nation bowlers offer enthusiastic outlook at the USBC Women's Championships

By Wendy Clem and Aaron SmithThe Cherokee Nation is a collective heritage of proud, busy people, and those who participate in the United States Bowling Congress Women's Championships take to the lanes with the same pride and effort.

Cherokee Nation teams competed this year at the National Bowling Stadium, and the members of Inches Away offered insight into how bowling figures into the Native American community. Tribes represented this week were the Chickasaw, Choctaw, Ponca, Pawnee and Keetoowah Cherokees.
