Eleven indicted in immigration scheme
Eleven Individuals from So-Called Indian Tribe Indicted in Probe of Immigration Scheme"The indictment states that Malcolm Webber hired others to help him sell memberships in what he called the Kaweah Indian Nation," said U.S. Attorney Eric Melgren. "It is alleged Mr. Webber and his employees told Hispanic pastors and Spanish speaking customers that unlawful aliens could acquire U.S. citizenship by purchasing membership. In fact, of course, citizenship cannot be obtained in that manner."

Somehow the Pequots escaped being charged such as were the 'Kaweah' who likely are about as real as are the 'Keewazi' of MARVEL Comix, or the Chickasaws, the Chickahominy, the Kickapoo, and the Lumbee. But Rob, with checks in hand, believes that Federal recognition supercedes reality...

How many times do I have to explain the recognition process to you before you'll get it? The Pequots have a more-or-less documented history and culture. The "Kaweah tribe" doesn't.
In addition, you haven't been reading the Kaweah articles. Or if you have, your comprehension skills are poor. This "Kaweah tribe" is different from the one that actually applied for recognition. It's fraudulent, pure and simple.
You also haven't grasped what I've told you about my income. Repeat after me, bright boy: I don't get checks from a gaming tribe. Let me know if you're too addle-brained to understand this plain English.
