Two Bulls apparent new OST presidentUnofficial election totals show Two Bulls winning the Oglala Sioux Tribe presidential race with 2,277 votes to Russell Means' 1,918 votes.
If preliminary results of the presidential election are accurate, Two Bulls will become the tribe's second woman president. The first, Cecelia Fire Thunder, was elected in 2004.
Means has run for president several times. He has lost to Dick Wilson, Fire Thunder and John Yellow Bird-Steele.Comment: Gee, I can't imagine why the Oglala Sioux voted against someone who declared himself a
sovereign nation in violation of federal, state, and tribal law. Who denigrated the OST tribal government as a bunch of lackeys and stooges.

Note the leather braid extensions on Mr. Means per the previous comment by "anonymous" re: full-bloods -

Russell Means is by no means full-blooded (4/4's Indian by blood quantum per the U.S. federal standards).
He is part Irish on his father's side.
His hair is quite wavy ('a la Larry of the Three Stooges), which is why he uses a ton of Pomade to slick down and straighten out his curly locks - which are about shoulder length to which are attached these bizarre braided leather thongs that make him look like he has long hair.
He gets an "A" for effort, though.

I asked one of my nieces (who is currently studying fashion design at an expensive private college in New York City) about this type of hair accessory and she told me that they are made in Turdestan from 100% jackass leather. They are marketed primarily to the international S&M community as party favors, but work much better as fly swatters.
Cost: about $5.00 each or buy four and get six free.
"He is part Irish on his father's side."
Just like President Elect O'Bama.
"....100% jackass leather..."
There's an insult hiding in that.
Clarification re: Jackass
The donkey or ass, Equus asinus, is a member of the Equidae or horse family, and an odd-toed ungulate. The words donkey and ass are applied to the domesticated E. asinus. The animal considered to be its wild ancestor is the African Wild Ass, also E. asinus.
Colloquially, the term "ass" is often used today to refer to a larger, horse-sized animal, and "donkey" to a smaller, pony-sized one. In the western United States, a small donkey is sometimes called a burro (from the Spanish word for the animal).
A male donkey or ass is called a jack (JACKASS), a female a jenny, and offspring less than one year old, a foal (male: colt, female filly).
While different species of the Equidae family can interbreed, offspring are almost always sterile. Nonetheless, horse/donkey hybrids are popular for their durability and the wide variety of leather products derived form their extra-tough hides. END

Just a statement of facts. MM
