"Pocahontas" statue in Previews

Progressive Ruin Presents...the End of CivilizationDon’t be afraid, boys and ghouls…it’s only me, your old pal the Ruin Keeper, with a scary look into the forbidden tome of Diamond Previews, the...um, the November 2011 edition.

p. 366 – Pocahontas 1/4-Scale Statue:

Finally, a way to get kids interested in history again…statuettes of famous folks with magnetic removable tops! Marie Curie, Florence Nightingale, Teddy Roosevelt…the possibilities are endless.
Comment:  Needless to say, this statue is a false and stereotypical image of Pocahontas. It presents her as the umpteenth "sexy Indian maiden."

This statue is about 50% more statuesque than the real girl would've been. That she has a pet wolf is a sad joke. And I'm not sure how the "magnetic removable top" works, but it sounds salacious.

For more on the subject, see Sophie Turner's "Poca-Hotness" and A History of Sexy "Indian Maidens."
