Muscogee secretary of state

Tribe looks abroad with creation of new postThe Muscogee (Creek) Nation, in recognition of growing business opportunities around the world, has created a new political office of Secretary of the Nation, officials announced.

The first secretary, Kevin Dellinger, took up his responsibilities for the first time last week. The position’s purpose will be largely equivalent to the secretary of state for Oklahoma, he said.
What the Secretary of the Nation will do: “The first and most important aspect of the job will be to create an office for purpose of allowing incorporation under tribal law … so that any entities, foreign or domestic, can come in and do business with the nation,” he said.

“This office will also be the lead agency to attract and encourage commerce with the nation.”
