MTV Canada banishes Dudesons episode

The e-mails to MTV protesting the Cowboys & Findians episode of The Dudesons continue. AIM Santa Barbara reports this positive outcome:

Hi Michael-

Let me begin by assuring you that if we thought a program contained derogatory material about any group of people based on their race, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, marital status or physical or mental disability, we would not allow it to go to air.

In response to concerns raised by viewers and out of sensitivity to the Aboriginal community, we will not be repeating the episode of “The Dudesons” in question.

I hope this addresses your concerns.
