Peltier denied parole again

American Indian activist Leonard Peltier once again denied parole

By Associated PressU.S. Attorney Drew Wrigley says imprisoned American Indian activist Leonard Peltier has been denied parole.

Wrigley said Friday the next scheduled hearing for Peltier is 2024, when Peltier would be 79 years old.
Comment:  I'm not particularly surprised. People thought Obama's election would make a difference, but the president doesn't influence individual parole decisions.

The system seems to be prejudiced against Peltier because he's an "angry Indian activist." I don't see any reason for paroling other convicted murderers but not him.
